Adoptable Cats

King Bob

Get to know me!

Age: 3 years old (8/1/2023)

Weight: 10 pounds

Gender: Male

Cool with: New people, traveling long distances in the car or plane, calm children

Not cool with: Cats and dogs, dry food (needs a wet food only diet)

Intake: 8/25/2024

My story:

King Bob is very outgoing and thinks that everyone is his best friend. He is quick to love every new person that comes his way. Especially the ladies. Bob is very food motivated and loves treats. He likes to play with laser pointers and wand toys. He is a very curious cat who loves to explore new areas. When you come home, he gets talkative and will tell you how much he missed you, even if you were gone for just a couple of minutes. Bob loves to travel. He has gone on lots of out of state car rides and he does absolutely amazing.

Bob is a special needs cat. He faced a lot of cruelty the first year of his life and because of that he has been left unable to pee on his own. He needs his bladder expressed 3 times a day. This usually only takes about 5 minutes each time. He can poop on his own. Bob's diet consists only of wet food. Because of the damage done to his spinal cord, he needs to remain on a wet food only diet. Dry food causes him constipation.

Bob’s ideal family wouldn’t have any dogs or other cats. He does well with calm children. It would be great if the adopter had experience expressing a cat bladder, but if not, we’d be happy to show you how it’s done. You’d come over regularly to do it with us until you are able to do it alone confidently.

As you can see Bob does have quite a few medical needs, but once you get into the swing of things it’s actually easy to take care of him. Plus, seeing Bob being playful and loving life despite everything gives you tremendous satisfaction and fulfillment in life. He just wants a family who is willing to take that leap of faith so that he can show them how truly special he can be.

Keith

Get to know me!

Age: 3 years old (DOB 4/1/2023)

Weight: 12 pounds

Gender: Male

Cool with: Mellow cats, calm children, car rides

Not cool with: Dogs, oral medication, dry food (requires a wet food only diet)

Intake: 4/21/2024

My story: Keith is, by far, the most social and loving cat we have. He likes meeting new people. He knows how to play fetch. He also adores snuggling with you and giving you kisses. Keith has FIV. Simply put, he has a weakened immune system. No need to worry though because FIV cats can live just as long as a healthy cat and FIV doesn't kill cats.

Keith's ideal forever family would be able to give him lots of love and attention. He would do best in a home without dogs. He gets along with kids and cats (when given a slow introduction). He is on a wet food only diet. Specifically, the Kirkland Pate cat food. Most foods upset his stomach, except that one. Keith is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, has his FVRCP vaccine, snap tested and his blood work is normal. Looking to adopt 2 cats? Keith and RJ get along great!

RJ

Get to know me!

Age: 3 years old (DOB 4/1/2021)

Weight: 12 pounds

Gender: Male

Cool with: A quiet home, cats (must have another cats in the home or adopted with one of our other cats)

Not cool with: Loud noises, dogs, strangers, young/energetic children

Intake: 4/16/2024

My story: RJ is a playful sweetheart. This little guy is very shy at first, and it might take him a couple of months to fully open up to you, but once he gets to know you, you'll have a friend for life. He loves playing with wand toys and eating freeze dried treats. He enjoys watching the birds outside a window and rubbing against your legs when you prepare his meal. RJ's ideal family wouldn't have any dogs. He would love a home that has another cat for him to play with or to be adopted with Keith (our other adoptable cat) because the two of them get along. He wouldn't be happy as an only cat. RJ does well with calm, older children. Especially since loud noises and new environments scare him easily.

RJ does have FIV. Simply put, it means he has a weakened immune system. FIV does not kill cats. They can live just as long as healthy cats. It can't be passed to humans or other species. FIV and non FIV cats can live together because it is only spread through deep bite wounds. It is not spread when cats groom each other, share food/water bowls or share litter boxes. RJ would love to be part of a family that is patient with him as he slowly gets to know them.

Lulu

Get to know me!

Age: 4 years old (DOB 8/21/2022)

Weight: 7.9 pounds

Gender: Female

Cool with: Children, mellow cats,

Not cool with: Loud noises

Intake: 7/12/2026

My story:

Lulu is a sweet and easy-going cat. Her idea of a wonderful day is watching the birds outside the window and sleeping on her favorite dog bed. She is a tiny girl, weighing just under 8 pounds. Lulu likes to play with wand toys and kickers. She mostly keeps to herself but will never turn down any pets and snuggles you want to give her during the day. She does well with calm cats that respect her boundaries. Lulu has been around kids as young as 6 years old. She hasn't been around any dogs, so we are unsure how she does with them.

Lulu is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and has a negative snap test.

Antares

Get to know me!

Age: 5 years old (DOB 3/1/2021)

Weight: 12 pounds

Gender: Male

Cool with: Constant snuggles, kittens, calm children

Not cool with: Dogs, adult cats, small cat carriers/kennels

Intake: 3/6/2026

My story:

There is nothing Antares wants more in life than to snuggle with you and get lots of attention. Antares had a rough start in life. When he was just 7 months old, he was rescued from an animal hoarding home where he had spent his entire life living in a small kennel. He eventually got adopted, but that family also failed him. Despite Antares being healthy and very affectionate they tried to euthanize him. Thankfully one of our volunteers was there and was able to convince the owners to surrender him to our rescue instead.

Antares is a truly amazing cat. He is sweet, gentle, playful and loves snuggling. Antares would be happiest as an only pet or adopted a home with a young kitten. One important thing you need to know about Antares is that he is VERY talkative. If you aren't into a cat that meows a lot, he won't be the boy for you. Based on his personality and physical traits, we believe he might be part oriental cat.

Antares is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, snap tested and his blood work is normal.

Scotty and Diana

My story: Diana and her son, Scotty, were both feral cats that we were able to socialize. Since they spent almost their life living on the streets, they are nervous around new people. Once they get to know you, their personalities start to shine.

Diana is sweet and loves when you give her attention. She is a very easy-going cat. You'll typically find her sleeping in a cat tree or outside in her catio. Scotty tends to be a bit more nervous than his mom. He loves to climb, so you'll always find him up high or enjoying the view in their catio.

After spending years of their life fighting to survive, they now prefer a home where they can have a peaceful life. They would prefer a home with no other cats, smaller cat savy dogs may be a fit. Since they are happiest in a calm environment, they do best with older children.

They are both spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, snap tested and their blood work is normal.

Diana and Scotty want nothing more than to live out their lives with a family that is willing to take the time to get to know them.

Get to know me!

Age: 5 years old and 3 years old

Weight: 13lbs + 11lbs

Gender: Mother + Son

Cool with: smaller, cat savvy dogs

Not cool with: other cats

Intake: 2024

Maeve

Get to know me!

Age: 5 years old (DOB 1/1/2021)

Weight: 7lbs

Gender: Female

Cool with: dogs, cats, kids, strangers

Not cool with: assertive cats and dogs that won't give her space as she gets to know them

Intake: 11/1/2023

My story:

Maeve was found injured on the streets of Michigan. She had open wounds on her back and feet. She also had injuries to her ears from other cats and ear mites (that's why her ears look unusual). If left there she likely would not have survived due to her injuries. After almost a year of socializing, Maeve has become affectionate and is looking for her forever home.

Maeve is very sweet and playful. She loves to be around people, even strangers. Maeve does well with indifferent cats and dogs. She just needs a slow introduction to them because she takes time to adjust to new environments and animals.

Sora

Get to know me!

Age: 4 years old

Weight: 14 pounds

Gender: Male

Cool with: Strangers and children 12+ years old

Not cool with: cats, dogs, the vacuum, loud noises

Intake: 4/24/2024

My story: We found Sora when he was sick and abandoned on the streets of Phoenix by his previous owners. Despite having a rough start to life, he is incredibly affectionate, even with strangers and the vet.

He is obsessed with cat tunnels. Sora can’t get enough of them. You’ll even see him purposefully go out of his way to walk through a tunnel to get to his destination. He has recently discovered his tail and will start to chase it until he is exhausted. You’ll never forget when it’s meal time for him because he becomes very talkative when it’s time to eat. He is the perfect combination of energetic and laid-back. At night he loves to snuggle by your side or feet and sleep with you. He enjoys laying in the sunshine and watching the birds outside the window.

One important thing you need to know about Sora is that he is FIV positive. Despite many misconceptions, FIV cats can live a long and happy life. The simplest way to explain it is that Sora has a weakened immune system. So it’s important to keep up with his yearly vet visit to make sure he is healthy.

Sora’s ideal family wouldn’t have dogs or other cats since he doesn’t get along with either. He would also do better in a home with older children (over the age of 12).

Thanos

Get to know me! (Bonded Pair)

Age: 4 years old (DOB 2/1/2022)

Cool with: Calm children (10+ years old), a quiet home, mellow cats (must be adopted with Richard)

Thanos is a playful and curious boy. He likes wand toys and wrestling with his best friend, Richard. He is very food motivated and enjoys any snacks you give him. Richard and Thanos became inseparable shortly after meeting. They play, sleep together and groom each other.

Thanos has FIV. Simply put, it means he has a weakened immune system. FIV does not kill cats. They can live just as long as healthy cats. FIV and non-FIV cats can live together because it only spreads through deep bite wounds. It is not spread when cats groom each other, share food/water bowls or share litter boxes.

Thanos is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, snap tested, his blood work is normal and he had his teeth cleaned in 2025. Both Thanos and Richard would love to have a family that can give them all the love they deserve.
