Adoptable Cats
King Bob
Get to know me!
Age: 4 years old
Weight: 10 pounds
Gender: Male
Cool with: Strangers, children 12+ year old, traveling (specifically long distance car rides)
Not cool with: Cats and dogs, dry food (needs a wet food only diet)
Intake: 8/25/2024
My story:
Bob was dumped on the streets of Phoenix in the middle of summer. Someone watched as a person kicked Bob in the rear so hard that he broke Bob’s tail and damaged his spinal cord so badly he can’t pee on his own anymore. This doesn’t stop Bob from being everyone’s best friend though. He is quick to love every new person that comes his way.
We have been teaching Bob tricks. Right now he knows how to beg, spin, and jump on your back. He is very food motivated especially for freeze dried minnows, Churus and Delectables. He loves to play with laser pointers and wand toys. He is a very curious cat who loves to explore new areas. He really loves spending his time in a catio or climbing a cat tree. When you come home he gets talkative and will tell you how much he missed you, even if you were gone for just a couple of minutes.
Bob’s tail has healed from the break and he has a little bit of movement in it. He still can’t pee on his own so he does need to be expressed 3 times a day. He can poop on his own. He takes lactulose 1-2 times a dayas well as 2 additional supplements to prevent him from getting UTIs.
As you can see Bob does have quite a few medical needs, but once you get into the swing of things it’s actually easy to take care of him. Plus, seeing Bob playful and loving life despite everything gives you tremendous satisfaction and fulfillment in life.
Bob’s ideal family wouldn’t have any dogs or other cats. He wouldn’t do well with young children (under the age of 12). It would be great if the adopter had experience expressing a cat bladder, but if not, we’d be happy to show you how it’s done. You’d come over regularly to do it with us until you are able to do it alone confidently. Bob is a “wet food only” guy.
Keith
Get to know me!
Age: 4 years old
Weight: 12 pounds
Gender: Male
Cool with: All adults and children 12+ years old
Not cool with: dogs, cats, being given oral medication, dry food (needs a wet food only diet)
Intake: 4/21/2024
My story: Keith is, by far, one of the most social and loving cats we have. Everyone he meets quickly becomes his new best friend, including the vet. His absolute favorite thing to do is play. Laser pointers, feather wand toys and springs are his current obsession. If you are looking for a cat who can play fetch, Keith is your guy. He also adores snuggling with you at night and giving you kisses. He loves absolutely any attention you will give him. When birds are outside the window, he gets excited and will start to chatter at them. Keith has stolen the heart of every person that has met him.
Keith is FIV positive. Despite many misconceptions, FIV cats can live a long and happy life. The simplest way to explain it is that Keith has a weakened immune system. It’s important to keep up with his yearly vet visit to make sure he is healthy.
Keith’s ideal family wouldn’t have any dogs or cats. It would be best if his family didn’t have any young children (under the age of 12). Since Keith is so active, he would need a family that can play with him daily.
RJ
Get to know me!
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 12 pounds
Gender: Male
Cool with: A quiet family, other cats (would do best in home with another cat or adopted with another one of our foster cats)
Not cool with: Loud noises, young children, strangers (he gets scared easily), dogs
Intake: 4/16/2024
My story: RJ is a formal feral cat who we’ve socialized and is now a total love bug!
If you are looking for a Siamese who loves to snuggle, sleep with you at night and loves belly rubs; then RJ is the cat for you. This little guy is shy at first, but once he gets to know you, you’ll have a friend for life. During his naps, he will hold your hand. He likes playing with wand toys and laser pointers, but his absolute favorite thing to do is play with another cat. He enjoys watching the birds outside of a window and meowing at you when it’s meal time. He is a curious little guy who always likes to know what his owner is doing.
One important thing you need to know about RJ is that he is FIV positive. Despite many misconceptions, FIV cats can live a long and happy life. The simplest way to explain it is that RJ has a weakened immune system. So it’s important to keep up with his yearly vet visit to make sure he is healthy.
RJ’s ideal family wouldn’t have any dogs and no young children (under the age of 12). He would love a home that had another cat for him to play with. Or better yet, adopted with one of our other cats that he loves (Olive).

Sora
Get to know me!
Age: 4 years old
Weight: 14 pounds
Gender: Male
Cool with: Strangers and children 12+ years old
Not cool with: cats, dogs, the vacuum, loud noises
Intake: 4/24/2024
My story: We found Sora when he was sick and abandoned on the streets of Phoenix by his previous owners. Despite having a rough start to life, he is incredibly affectionate, even with strangers and the vet.
He is obsessed with cat tunnels. Sora can’t get enough of them. You’ll even see him purposefully go out of his way to walk through a tunnel to get to his destination. He has recently discovered his tail and will start to chase it until he is exhausted. You’ll never forget when it’s meal time for him because he becomes very talkative when it’s time to eat. He is the perfect combination of energetic and laid-back. At night he loves to snuggle by your side or feet and sleep with you. He enjoys laying in the sunshine and watching the birds outside the window.
One important thing you need to know about Sora is that he is FIV positive. Despite many misconceptions, FIV cats can live a long and happy life. The simplest way to explain it is that Sora has a weakened immune system. So it’s important to keep up with his yearly vet visit to make sure he is healthy.
Sora’s ideal family wouldn’t have dogs or other cats since he doesn’t get along with either. He would also do better in a home with older children (over the age of 12).
Thanos
Get to know me!
Age: 3 years old
Weight: 13 pounds
Gender: Male
Cool with: Cats (looking to be adopted with Richard or into a home with another cat), children 12+ years old, calm household
Not cool with: Dogs, loud noises, the vacuum/broom/mop, and nervous around strangers
Intake: 2/12/2025
My story: We found Thanos abandoned on the streets of Phoenix and in really bad shape. He showed clear signs of neglect. His whole body was covered in wounds from trying to survive on his own. When you see him now, you'd never know he had such a hard life.
Although shy at first, Thanos becomes a total love bug once he gets to know you. He likes playing with feather wand toys and hair ties. He is always ready for a long snuggle. In his spare time Thanos is training to be a hairstylist by playing with your hair when given the chance.
Thanos does great with cats, he just needs a slow introduction (around 2-3 weeks). He is good with kids over the age of 10 years old. He doesn't like dogs.
He is FIV positive. This means that Thanos has a weakened immune system. Despite misconceptions, FIV cats can live a long and happy life. You just want to make sure you keep up with their yearly vet visits.
Looking to adopt 2 cats? Although not a bonded pair, Thanos gets along great with Richard.
Olive
Get to know me!
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 5 pounds
Gender: Female
Cool with: cats, dogs that are small and mellow, a calm environment
Not cool with: young children, loud noises, hyper dogs
Intake: 1/2/2025
My story: We found Olive locked in a car with 21 other cats.
Olive is the smallest adult cat we have right now. She is roughly the size of an 6 month old kitten, despite her being about 2 years old. Don’t let her size fool you though. She has a big personality packed in her little body. She is obsessed with laser pointers and feather wand toys. She could play with them for hours on end. Flipping mid air and outrunning the other cats to grab the toy first are just a few of the things she will do when it’s playtime. Once she is exhausted, she will lay with you or another cat for her daily dose of snuggles. At night Olive likes to act like she’s queen of the house by sleeping on top of you.
It takes Olive is a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she won’t ever leave your side. When she sees you getting her food together, she starts meowing and will lead you right to her food bowl. She gets scared when you pick her up. Rather than picking her up to put her in a carrier, we place some treats in the carrier and she walks right in.
Olive’s ideal family wouldn’t have a small mellow dog or no dogs or young children (under the age of 12). She would do best in a home that has another cat, or adopted with our other foster cat, RJ.
Richard
Get to know me!
Age: 4 years old
Weight: 12 pounds
Gender: Male
Cool with: Other cats (wants to be adopted with Thanos or into a home with another cat), new people, children 12+ years old
Not cool with: Dogs, loud noises, petting him on the side of his face that doesn't have an eye (he gets scared and jumps)
Intake: 6/12/2024
My story: Richard is formally a feral cat that we were able to socialize and he is now looking for his forever home. Don't let the fact he used to be feral stop you though. Richard is slowly starting to become one of our most friendly foster cats.
The first thing you'll notice about Richard is that he is missing an eye. When we originally trapped him, his eye had already deflated and what was left needed to be removed. He doesn't let that stop him though. Richard likes to chase feather wand toys and absolutely loves to play with other cats. He is a laid back cat who enjoys a calm life of just hanging out with his owner and other cats. He will get spurts of energy throughout the day, but for the most part, he is super easy going. He does get very excited for meal time or any treats you give him.
Richard would do best in a home without any dogs. He does well with children over the age of 12 years old. He would be most happy if the family had another cat or adopted with our other foster cat, Thanos.
